Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Deal Dropper ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Deal Dropper, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. What Deal Dropper is
Deal Dropper is a membership. Members pay a monthly fee and can use coupons from participating local businesses. The businesses are independent: they aren't owned by Deal Dropper and don't act for us.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to become a member.
- Sign in only with an email you control, and keep it secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in.
- One person per membership. Don't share your account or your codes.
3. Membership and billing
- The membership costs $5 a month, plus any tax. Stripe bills your card each month until you cancel. You'll see the price before you pay.
- Cancel any time from "Manage membership". You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires.
- If a payment fails, you can't use coupons until it goes through.
- We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice. The new price starts at your next billing date after the notice.
4. Using coupons
- Each coupon can be used as often as it says (every day, every week, every 2 weeks or every 28 days) at each location. One coupon per purchase; coupons can't be combined.
- To use one, open it in the app at the counter and show the live code. It works for a few minutes only. The business's staff scan it or type it in.
- Coupons have no cash value and can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash.
- Businesses set their own coupon terms (for example, a minimum purchase). They may change or end a coupon at any time, and may refuse a coupon if its terms aren't met.
- Goods and services come from the business, not from Deal Dropper. Questions about a purchase go to the business. If a business won't honor a valid coupon, tell us.
5. Rules for everyone
Don't misuse Deal Dropper. That means no sharing or selling codes or accounts, no fraud, no automated access, no interfering with the service, and nothing illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
6. Businesses
If you list your business on Deal Dropper:
- Listing is free. There's no fee and no revenue share.
- Every coupon must be worth at least $5, be clearly worded, and be honored at your listed locations while it's live.
- Deal Dropper reviews your first coupon, and may turn down, pause or remove coupons or businesses that mislead members or aren't honored.
- You're responsible for your staff, your store logins and passphrases, and the goods and services you sell, including taxes.
- If you connect your POS system with a Deal Dropper add-on, you allow us to receive the information needed to apply and record coupons, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for your POS account and its settings, and you can disconnect at any time.
7. Changes and availability
We may change or stop parts of the service, with reasonable notice of significant changes. We work to keep Deal Dropper available but can't promise it will never be interrupted.
8. Disclaimers
Deal Dropper is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties. We don't guarantee any particular business, coupon or amount of savings.
9. Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, Deal Dropper isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 for a business that paid nothing.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using Deal Dropper and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breaking these terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Dallas County, Texas, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and tell members about significant changes. Using Deal Dropper after a change means you accept it.
